Kim Yaeger began her journey with Down syndrome as an educational assistant for a young student with Down syndrome. Since students with Down syndrome have a unique learning style, Kim wanted to better understand his learning profile so she could help him be successful in school. After extensively researching Down syndrome, Kim developed a program, and began Little Leaf’s early intervention program with 2 students in a small spare bedroom. In the past 6 years, Kim has attended numerous trainings and accreditations to become a leading expert in Down syndrome.
